LOCATION

Aaron J. Shatkin Memorial Service and Reception
The memorial service and reception will be held on Thursday, October 18 at Kirkpatrick Chapel and Zimmerli Art Museum, respectively, on the College Avenue campus of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Parking will be available in Rutgers Lots 1, 8, and 16. For location and specific directions, please visit the Kirkpatrick Chapel Rutgers Maps and Zimmerli Art Museum sites.

26th Annual CABM Symposium
The symposium will be held on Friday, October 19 in the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School Main Lecture Hall (adjacent to CABM) on the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey campus in Piscataway, New Jersey. Parking will be available in UMDNJ Lots A, B, and C, and Rutgers Lots 58, 58A, and 58B. For location and specific directions, please visit the CABM Rutgers Maps site.


GENERAL DIRECTIONS

Garden State Parkway (Northbound)
Turn off at Exit 105 and follow signs for Route 18 North. After approximately 24 miles, you will pass the entrance for the New Jersey Turnpike. Proceed along Route 18 North, crossing the Raritan River (approximately 3.7 miles). Continue on Route 18 North. Proceed up Route 18 to the Rutgers University Campus Road exit ramp on the right. Follow Campus Road until you come to the circle and take the 2nd right onto Frelinghuysen Road. Follow Frelinghuysen Road until you come to a T. Make a right at the stop sign on Hoes Lane West. CABM is the third building on the right.

Turn off at Exit 129 for the New Jersey Turnpike and head south. Turn off at Exit 9, bear right after the tollbooths and follow signs for “Route 18 North – New Brunswick.” Stay to the left to continue on Route 18 North. Proceed along Route 18 North, crossing the Raritan River (approximately 3.7 miles). Continue on Route 18 North. Proceed up Route 18 to the Rutgers University Campus Road exit ramp on the right. New Jersey Turnpike

Interstate 287
Turn off at “Bound Brook/Highland Park” (Exit 9). Proceed east on River Road toward Highland Park. At the third traffic light make a left onto Hoes Lane West. Pass the Rutgers golf course and Frelinghuysen Road on your right. CABM is the third building on the right.

US Route 1
Turn off at “Route 18 North-New Brunswick”. Proceed along Route 18 North, crossing the Raritan River (approximately 3.7 miles). Continue on Route 18 North. Proceed up Route 18 to the Campus Road exit ramp on the right. Follow Rutgers University Campus Road until you come to the circle and take the 2nd right onto Frelinghuysen Road. Follow Frelinghuysen Road until you come to a T. Make a right at the stop sign on Hoes Lane West. CABM is the third building on the right.


TRANSPORTATION

Mass Transit
New Jersey Transit and Amtrak provide bus and train service to and from the Rutgers New Brunswick campus area. Please visit the New Jersey Transit and Amtrak sites for schedules and additional information. Taxi service is available from the New Brunswick train station 3.5 miles from CABM. Ask for transport to the CABM building on the Rutgers Busch Campus or UMDNJ Piscataway Campus.

Campus Buses and Shuttles
The Rutgers New Brunswick-Piscataway intercampus bus and shuttle system is a service provided to all members of the university community. Please visit the Rutgers Department of Transportation Services site for schedules and additional information.

Visitor Parking
From Hoes Lane, turn into the entrance to Parking Lot C just before the large sign for the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Additional visitor parking is located in Lots A and B across Hoes Lane on the UMDNJ campus and Lots 58, 58A, and 58B on the Rutgers University Busch Campus. Hangtags for parking will not be required on Friday, October 19 and no tickets will be issued. Park in any regular spot (except the guaranteed, reserved, or metered parking slots) you may find in the lots in front of CABM or across the street.
